Our first recovery was on Friday 4th March at 11:58am when the Phantom control room received an activation from a Bailey Senator caravan in the Warwickshire area. Phantom immediately contacted the owner of the vehicle to check the caravan's status. And after the owner checked with a neighbour, we established the caravan had indeed been stolen.

Phantom then liaised with the police control room and using our GPS technology we tracked the caravan's location accurate to within 3 meters. Officers were dispatched to give chase to the caravan thief who was now on the run. Guided by Phantom staff the police caught up with the caravan travelling down the M40 Motorway towed by a white 4x4. Three more police cars joined the pursuit and also a police helicopter! At 12:30pm a rolling roadblock was performed and the caravan was brought to a stop with the thief taken away in handcuffs. It only took 32 minutes from theft to arrest, a brilliant result which rivals any other device on the market.

One of the police officers involved with the pursuit was so impressed with the Phantom Tracking System that he placed an order with us that day to protect his motor home and two days later his mother also rang us to place an order for another tracking unit to protect her caravan.

Our second recovery happened on Monday 7th March when a Fiat Autotrail Scout motor home worth £57,000 and located in Northwich alerted our control room of a possible theft. The owner had come home to find his house broken into and his motor home keys stolen. What the thieves didn't know was, because the motor home had a Phantom tracking unit and a motion detection device installed, as soon as the they moved off with the vehicle the device silently sent an activation to the Phantom control room. Again we were hot on the heels of the thieves!

We tracked the vehicle to several miles away from the customer's home address where it had become stationary. Unfortunately, although the police arrived only 10 minutes later the culprits had disappeared. The police staked the area out for a good 7 hours hoping the thieves would return but unfortunately they didn't. The customers were very happy to get their pride and joy back and very impressed by Phantom's rapid response.
